Homeroom is a great time to get help on homework. Maria Lazipone helps Jessie Myers with her math.
PDA is usually not allowed in school, but Charlie Breuer can’t help himself. He plants a kiss on Erika Essig.
Wise Fools
Sophomores are not quite as wise as juniors or seniors, and less foolish than freshmen. We are the wise fools in the middle. We have to start taking school more seriously and some of us are starting to look towards college. But, with this responsibility comes good things. Most of us turn sixteen and start driving. We are becoming role models for the younger students. The sophomore year is the time to take a step up. Most of us are beginning to join clubs and achieve varsity letters. The most important thing to think about this year is preparation for college. Things like SAT board scores and National Honor Society begin to grace our ears. We can start relying on ourselves or our friends instead of our parents for rides. Even though we know we must grow up eventually, this is a great year to have fun before getting ready to leave high school.
