Gettysburg
Get-away
This year was unique for the Gettysburg experience. Two groups of students from
CBA made the trip within just a few months of each other, In the spring of β98 the Class of β02 made the journey, followed by the Class of β03 in the fall.
During the trips to Gettysburg the eighth and ninth grade students found that friendships grew closer by being awayfrom home and school. It was a chance to get away from family members and have an enjoyable and educational experience in an historical

community. While spending time with classmates, the students received an education of the rich history of the battlegrounds. Tour guides on both trips not only provided information on the historical sites but also a sense of humor to entertian the rowdy masses. Overall the trips allowed a great timeforfriends and a wonderful education. Students get a first hand look at how exciting history can be. Thanks Mrs. Bush!
