Getting Involved
8th Graders' Self-Discovery
Eighth grade is probably the first major year where students start "get
ting involved." They can make new friends through Art Club, help others
through the LaSallian Youth Group, and learn about new things through
the Science Club. Most importantly, however, students can learn about
themselves through many CBA activities.
Sports, for example, develop self-discipline. In order to succeed, you
must try hard, be at every practice, and never lose the hunger to win.
Then you must find time in your busy schedule to do all the homework
assigned to you by those wonderful teachers. Participating in sports can
show you just how much you can take.
Getting involved makes the CBA experience not only a whole lot nicer
