We've Got Tonight
Junior Prom — A Night to Remember
After waiting our entire lives for what everyone rumors to be the best night of
high school, we finally got the chance to experience the junior prom.
At the Liverpool Country Club, the students were greeted by Brother Michael,
who handed each girl a rose, and Mrs. Norton, who gave every student a cham
pagne glass candle and key chain.
By the time the third dance was played, most everybody had loosened up.
(Basically everyone's shoes were off!) Everything from the "YMCA" to "La Ma-
carena" was played, including the ever-popular "Electric Slide" (that even Mrs.
Norton joined in on).
Finally, the last song of the night was played. Everybody danced to the sweet
melody of Bob Segar's "We've Got Tonight."
Though tired, many students left the prom that night with their friends to con
tinue the celebration. No matter what they did, everyone had a common bond, a
lasting memory of their junior prom.
Dancing all night can
wear you down!
