 Cheerleading
It's More Than Just Rah, Rah, Rah!
The CBA cheerleaders have had a
very busy year. Beginning in August
at a three day, non-stop camp, the
cheerleaders worked hard all year to
reach peak performance. While pracĀ
ticing two to four hours daily, the
cheerleaders prepare rigorously, not
only for games but also for competiĀ
tions. This year they will be attending
three competitions unless they conflict
with other commitments such as the
Boys' Varsity Basketball Sectionals.
Among these competitions is a day trip
to Six Flags in New Jersey, this being
the site of the 1997 Eastern Regionals
Competition. In anticipation of these
exciting events the cheerleaders still
are, and will continue with gymnastic
classes twice a week as well as their
strenuous practices.

Among members of a
team, close friendships are
commonly formed. All of
CBA's cheerleaders share
this special, deep running
bond.
The CBA cheerleaders ne
er seem to be lacking
school spirit. Kim Thor

show their impressive e:
thusiasm for the crowd
the Dome.
