Leadership, academics,
character, and service are the four
criteria for membership in the
National Honor Society.
Composed of a select group of
seniors, NHS conducts numerous
service events in the school and
outside communities. We have an
extensive tutoring program to
help others excel in academics and
run an annual Food Drive in
November to help those at St.
Lucy's parish.
As chairperson of this year's
Food Drive, I am proud to say we
collected over 1,200 food items.
Never before in the history of the
National Honor Society's Food
Drive at Christian Brothers
Academy has the total number of
food items surpassed 1,000. This
would never have been possible
without the support of every
student and faculty member who
participated. Those at St. Lucy's
parish thank you all, as do we, the
members of the National Honor
Society.
As we pass the torch on to the
newly inducted members, we
leave behind new and old
challenges. Trust in yourselves,
and Mr. Sacco, that you will make
the right decisions and live up to
the code of the National Honor
Society. Thanks again for your
wonderful support. Without you
we would not have been able to
set a record!!
