Ode to the Secretaries
O, ye students of CBA
Who rush so quickly through the halls,
You are not aware of the women
Who really hold up these walls.
Without these seven royal gals,
The school would have no heart —
No central foundation to hold it up —
It would simply fall apart.
Anna & Theresa balance the books,
So the IRS doesn't knock at Brother's door;
Pat helps spread the word in Syracuse
About what CBA can offer and more;
Dolores photocopies college essays and transcripts,
So that we may succeed beyond this school;
Dorothy picks up attendance sheets
And assists DM Norton in enforcing the rule;
Celia keeps Brother Michael on his toes —
Aware of every FAX and file;
And Joan knows almost every student's name
And greets each with a smile.
Where would we be without these seven gals?
I guess we'll never know,
For commitment is something which each
The Administration needs to have
a good relationship with the stu
dents. Mr. Dado boogies down
with Lenny DiFino and Mike To-
oley.
And every secretary here does show.
