Unprecendented before in Section 3 boys soc cer, our soccer team won back to back New York State Championships. This season was led by Central New York’s player of the year senior Bob by Hammer, as our scoring power; and our flaw less sweeper senior Jimmy Riverso, who was un
scored upon until the last ten minutes of the State Championship match.
With the close of this season, our team is sad to say good-bye to the other graduating seniors; Jamie Goggi, Paul Walsh, Eric Rinella, Cesco Riverso, and Craig Overton. Next year still looks promising with tri-captains Kevin Boyle, John Klusick, and Greg Tait all returning leading the way. Watch for underclassmen Ross D ’Eredita and Jarret Park to step up and make great contri butions to the team’s success. Hopefully at this time next year we will be able to say “Three- peat” ,
