Last April break, I was one of fourteen students that had the opportunity to travel to Italy. For a week, we had the chance to enjoy the delicious Italian cuisine, fine shopping, and beautiful landmarks. Our moderators were Ms. McGinty and her husband John, with whom we all had a wonderful time.
The first place that we visited was Venice. We saw old prisons, glass making, went to discos, and rode gondolas. Our hotel was gorgeous and it was located right on the beach. In Rome, we toured the Vatican and the ruins of Julius Caesar. We also saw the Sistine Chapel. It was a breath-taking place, and everyone was taken with the beauty of it.
We had a terrific time touring each city, shopping in fine stores, and basking in the sunshine. The trip was definitely an experience of a lifetime.
