P. 137

The spring ’97 season for the Boys Varsity La crosse team had good times and bad. After start ingoffthe season with a huge comeback victory over Cortland, the team went on to lose many games throughout the rest of the year. Captains Brandon Duck and Mark Mashie provided many big goals throughout the season, and Gregg Bums, was dependable in the goal. There
were many individual achievers on this year’s team, but these skills could not be brought to gether to create a winning season. However, there are many young players to step up next year, and we hope that the future will be much brighter for the Brothers Lacrosse Team.
