After weeks of anticipation, on September 26, CBA’s homecoming week finally arrived. The football team im proved their unblemished record with a 70-0 win over Altmar Parish Williamstown. The amazing defense held APW to a mere 30 yards. At the end of the game, the Most Valuable Player award was presented to senior tight end Bryan Sacco.
There was much school spirit shown by both students and faculty during the entire homecoming week. Stu dents participated in Hat Day, Tacky Day, Dress Like Someone Else Day, and Dress in Spirit Day. However, the pep rally on Friday afternoon really caught the stu dents attention. Mrs. Bigelow, Mrs. Norton, and Mr. Ro mano were elected by the students as the teachers who they most wanted to get a pie in the face. All three teach ers ended up with a mouthful, but Mrs. Norton was def
initely the crowd favorite. Keenan Gradoville, the wiij ner of the raffle, had the honor of throwing the piej^ Mrs. Norton’s face. This was also CBA’s first time hai ing a Homecoming Court in a long time. Mike Erwf and Michal Gradoville were voted as king and queen b the student body. All members of the court were honore at the pep rally and at half time of the football gann After the game there was a dance for the high scho® students. The music was awesome and everyone had blast.
The week was great and was by far one of the be- ever. The students showed their pride in CBA by active! participating all week long. Eventhough everyone sti' had work to do, the week was a time for all students t let loose and have fun. Homecoming Week was a hug success!
