Maite de Costa lived in the United States for six months. During this time she lived with Michal Gra- doville and her family. Maite was originally from Santa Catarina, a state in southern Brazil. The transition was a difficult one but it was made easier by the hospitality and graciousness of everyone in the CBA community. While she was a student here, Maite played tennis and attended classes with both seniors and juniors. She was the last child of her immediate family to live in Syra cuse. Maite enjoyed her time here in the U.S. immense ly and was very grateful for all the friends and for the help that she received from the Gradoville Family. She will be returning to America for one year of college some time in the future. Maite was just one of the many people who entered into the lives of this year’s seniors and touched us forever. Good Luck Maite!
