When Brother Gabriel attended CBA as a student the classes were much more diminutive, and includ ed only boys. The subjects were all taught by Broth ers except one. This was influential to the students because they respected and looked up to the Brothers considerably. The school consisted of nothing more than a building and a parking lot, so all games and practices were held off property, usually at Roosevelt Jr. High. Baseball was the exception, and that was

played at the lake. Another substantial difference was that every morning during homeroom students were taught a religion lesson by their homeroom teacher.
Brother has seen major improvements with the curriculum of CBA. There is a much more diverse selection of courses available today than when Brother Gabriel attended. Unlike before, Juniors and Seniors are now able to elect their own courses.
There is a large variety in people joining CBA’s staff. Their personalities and differences make the school a much friendlier and more enjoyable place to be. A recent improvement contributed to the school is the modernization of labs. Brother hopes that in the future CBA will allow technology to be come an even bigger role in academics, and that eve rything will be done in a more minute way.
