“Basketball
Led by head coach Lasda, the Brothers rookie team excelled all expectations. The new play­ ers turned out to be a pow­ erhouse team. From day one the Brothers were set on vic­ tory and grabbed it. They sur­ passed the record of the vet­ eran 8th grade team mid-sea­ son. The team finished with better than an 8-9 record.

Under the leadership of Coach Lasda, the eighth grade bas­ ketball team had a winning season. The team was pre­ pared for the season due to last years training. The beginning of the season saw head coach Dick Lasda optimistic. His hopes were justified when the team finished better than 7-6.
