^ i driving L I Ispirit behind CBA? PRIDE! If there was ever one person who embod ied this spirit at CBA it is Br. Basilian. Everyone has seen
this man at work because he is always doing something. He lines the fields, mows the lawns, cleans the boards, he spent the summer repairing the baseball field with a shovel. This is the man who makes sure that everything runs smooth ly, so the students have a great place to go to school. Why does he work so hard? He works be cause he cares for the stu dents and he cares for CBA. Brother Basilian has more PRIDE in his little finger than most people have in their whole being!
Br. B. is a quiet, reserved man who shows a lot of re
spect for everyone he knows. He is a companion, counselor, and friend. Brother Basilian is an essential part of what has made C B A the fine, upstand ing, institution that it is today. He is devoted to the school in many ways. A s all athletes know. Brother is part of the spiritual drive in C B A athlet ics. Whenever an athlete sees him, they strive to do their personal best. He also helps the janitors around the school grounds. He fixes fields, hangs plaques, repairs walks and cleans desks. Everybody loves him. Brother is an enlightened man who treats everyone with kindness and respect. We all cheer for him.
Recently, Brother Basilian has been confined to a hospital bed because of complications with surgery on his leg. He lit erally worked himself into that bed, and now he can’t wait un til he can get back to work. Brother Basilian has spent his entire life working. He is a spe cial man. Without him there is definitely something signifi cant missing from CBA. We love you Brother Basilian. Get well soon, and when you re turn, let us do something for you.
