of ’92
Since Freshman year. Seniors have been wondering what the future has in store for them. One option all of us have been prepared for is college.
CBA, as a college preparatory school, has designed academic programs to compare with college programs, and the guidance staff has been hard at work assisting Seniors in their at tempts at college applications. Senior counselor Miss Theresa Quilty has been both helpful and patient when aiding Seniors in their pursuit of higher ed
ucation
In September, Miss Quilty instruct
ed Seniors in the basics of applying to colleges in the newly scheduled guid ance period and by meeting with Sen iors individually throughout the year. Miss Quilty has also kept tabs on their progress. With all the pressures Sen iors must endure their final year. Miss
Quilty has been a great source of en couragement and support.
Once accepted by a college, many Seniors will wonder about further fu ture plans: what to major in and what activities to participate in there. Some of us will become doctors, lawyers, ac countants and politicians, and the thought of the work that lies ahead is both frightening and sobering. Miss Quilty is ever-ready to offer assis tance with course selection in con junction with her application assis tance, and these efforts help allay the
apprehension many Seniors feel.
Even though the road ahead may be long and difficult, we may all look back to say we had a good foundation in the basics given to us by CBA and its
experienced faculty. After bidding CBA a fond farewell, we look ahead with the future in our sight.
