he many hours dedicated to extensive schedules of those students involved in sports are very rewarding in the end. The sense of fulfillment gained after scoring a touchdown, reaching home plate, or scoring the winning goal is almost indescribable. Finally reaching goals that have been set by the coach and the team makes all of the hours of practice pay off.
CBA has an outstanding reputation on the athletic fields and courts.
Looking back, we have won several championships, at all levels in the state. Looking forward, the underclassmen offer a great deal of potential for the future. In the year 2000 and beyond, CBA promises to have a bright athletic future.
Teamwork is a natural community builder. Time and time again
student-athletes walk away from their sports experience at CBA with a new family and a new sense of pride. Teammates become brothers and sisters quite quickly; consider how much time is spent together! The van rides, the workouts, and the practices all contribute to sense of community that our student-athletes encounter.
One word stands out as a person gazes at the wall of the gymnasium - PRIDE. It is this word that captures much of
what CBA athletics seeks to instill in the many students that dedicate their time to the program. No matter how many wins, or how many loses, PRIDE is what drives these students to succeed in their respective sports.
