P. 182
Well, it’s obvious the end of the year has come, and I can honestly say that I embrace that news passionately. Being on the yearbook staff, especially as an editor, was definitely a learning experience. I believe my WPM drastically increased from typing rushed articles, and my patience, as well as those of Mo and Mannion, have been tested, teased, and tormented to their ends. I must admit that my tolerance level for stress has risen from where it stood three years ago, which mainly came from the agonizing computer we were granted last year. Although it seems like technology is always a benefit, it is very temepramental, especially when I want a text box to be shaded, but the computer wishes for it to remain white. There have been many times in which I would
have loved to throw the machine out the window, but thankfully level-headed staff members refrained me. I would like to thank MoMo and Mrs. Mannion for tolerating me and my continual problems. Though there may have been periodic disagreements, overall everyone worked together well.
I bid you all a sweet farewell, and pray that next year treats the staff kindly. I know it goes without saying that there will be fewer misspelled words. I am relieved and proud to hand the book off to another, and grateful to have survived to say goodbye...

This year brings to a close my fifth year as a member of the Yearbook. I have served in various positions, and have seen many changes. No longer will yearbook staff members slave over hand drawn layouts, now that we have a computer on hand . With a press and click of a button, layouts are created and captions are typed. However, technological advances are not what makes yearbook go. The completion of the yearbook depends on more than a few editors and a computer. Without dedicated general staff willing to show up and work, we would have no yearbook. This was the last year for our three-year veteran moderator, Mr. Mominey. Mr. Mominey was excellent in helping to pick up the pieces in yearbook when the yearbook grind became too much for the staff. I can’t thank Mr. Mominey enough for his support, dedication, and guidance that he has provided over the last three years. I only hope that he can find another job that is just as relaxing...! am also very glad to see Mrs. Mannion come on board as next year’s moderator. She has already helped out so much this year, while also learning about being the moderator. I hope next year, my last year, will be even more exciting and thrilling. Until next year, enjoy the book but never forget the people who put in the hours to make it.
Thank you-
