For almost a century, every aspect of Christian Brothers Academy has brought pride and companionship to surrounding
communities.
Well, this is it... the year many of us have been waiting for. The turn of the millennium. We have encountered in the past 1,000 years the birth of our great country, various battles and wars, and serious downfalls such as the Holocaust. Our world has also witnessed many entertaing occurences such as Shakespearian Tragedies, feature films, and baseball. But what about the smaller, more personal actions we have experienced as part of the CBA community? John the Baptist certainly had high expectations when founding the initial academy. Have we as students, faculty, and alumni lived up to these expectations? I believe, beyond a doubt, that we have. CBA holds the strong traditions of knowledge, spirituality, community service, and leaderĀ ship. Such a reputation is difficult to obtain, and even more difficult to uphold over a long period of time. The Academy has invested many years into maintaining these expectations so long ago developed. Graduates and faculty look upon their time at the Academy with nostalgia and admiration. I hope that all members of the CBA community are, as past generations have been, ^^omiwcd to Looking Back.
