AP Courses

Mrs. Norton is the mistress of the Bio lab. Even having a baby mid-year couldn't stop her from engaging in the subject she loves and sharing her knowledge with others.
difficult classes are their favorite. This is because that with every hardship one faces, something valuable is granted. This holds true with AP courses because of the experience a student gains from intensive study in a smaller, more intimate class environ ment. The ninth grade Biology students do not learn how to mate Drosophila in their mutant and wild eye forms. The English classes do not have the chance to venture through New York City with Mrs. Bigelow and Mrs. Fiutak as a reward for dealing with the literary works of Joseph Conrad and Shakespeare. AP Physics students dissect the mathematical formulas for motion and momentum while the AP Calculus students stress over integrals. AP U.S. History students swear they will never need to know the colorofthe presidents'eyes. The four AP French students feel no need to know future anterior verb form, while the AP Spanish students deny the appreciation of vocabulary memorization. Though students may resent some aspects of Advanced Place ment life, the rewards and knowledge gained far outweigh any disappointments.

If you aren't \willing to work diligently, AP courses aren't for you. This group of seniors is working especially hard to find the respiration of germinated peas, nongerminating peas, and glass beads.
So, you think the ability to gain college credit will be easy, right? You can

Although the pressures are high and the involvement demanding, overall, students enjoy taking AP courses. If you ask almost
