Throughout summer and fall, long months of practice proved worthwhile as this year's cross-country team attained
the honor of being the best team in the CNY League. Chalk ing up another excellent record, the harriers from CBA placed five members on the All-City Team. Included on the All- City Team, are Mike Walker, Charlie Burzalow, Derrick, Jeff LaBarge and Mike Serino.
Led by Coach Jerry Riordan, the varsity cross-country team upheld the fine cross-country tradition of CBA by finish ing first at Baldwinsville, Fulton, Binghamton, McQuad, the City-County Parochial Championship, the Palladium Times Meet at Oswego, and the Dual Meet Championship. They also placed well by getting fourth at the Christian Brothers Meet in N. Y. C ., and thirteenth in the Eastern Seaboard X- Country Championship, held in N. Y. C.
The J. V. 's showed great ability by finishing undefeated, and with the league title. Led by Gregory Gardner, Charlie Paikert, Steve Quility, Tom Pitoniak, and Mike Homeyer, this year's J. V. team will definitely be championship con tenders next year.
