 Mrs. Sonya Snyder
Librarian
When Friday arrived, many breathed a sigh of relief, including C.B.A. staff members. For C.B.A. staff, weekends were packed with activ ities,
Mrs. Franz, for instance, spent her week ends shopping, dining out, and watching foot ball and other sports. M rs. Kelly was especially busy at cleaning, ironing, sewing, washing, and cooking. But she still had the time to relax and read the paper or take day trips. Anna Va- netti was even more active outside her house, taking hot- air balloon rides, swimming (when the weather permitted), or traveling to the Bal
timore woods. She even tried her hand at basket weaving. Mrs. Snyder, the librarian, on the other hand, was busy getting her Masters De gree, while Mrs. Bush, the nurse, slept late and relaxed at home.
The activities done by the staff varied from pleasure to work. For the staff, in general, the weekends were the time to catch up. In Mrs. M oleski’s case, the weekend was a time to visit her friends.
Yes. The weekends were bustling with activ ity, and not just that of the students.
