Strictly Off the Record
A student’s life was not centered only around school, studying, and homework. It consisted of ex­ tra-curricular activities, sports, and social gather­ ings. We, the students of C.B.A., knew this better than anyone else.
In the numerous clubs and organizations that were formed in this school, a visitor witnessed schol­ ars engaged in lively conversations. As we communi­ cated, we learned more about ourselves and became better acquainted with different people. Every day presented a new experience that brought the pupils closer together.
“Buy everything! Oil! Oil! Oil! “It’s hot!” Molly Young finally benefits from the oil crisis.
All of the main events of the day did not occur at the end of classes. In the morning before homeroom, students conversed freely in a relaxed atmosphere. The topic of classes was mostly avoided, however. Lunch periods served as a time to catch up on the latest news — and yes, even gossip.
Here, at C.B.A., we were so busy having fun that work seemed like a faraway land. Laughter, and sometimes chaos, infiltrated the hallways. Now the memories are left, and with them another year has ended, leaving behind an unforgettable record that will stand out for many.
