TO THE CLASS OF 1967
To the Class of 1967:
“Let us look at the record” was often the cry of Alfred E. Smith, the forthright former governor of New York State. His words might be applied to you.
The class of ’67, in the main, has established itself as one of the outstanding classes in the long and cherished tradition of Christian Brothers Academy. Your aj:hieve- ments are many: scholastic excellence, state scholarships, cultural prominence, and athletic prowess. But more than achievements and records is what you have learned at CBA. And that is generous, unstinting service.
This wholehearted spirit of giving of oneself, be it to parish, scbool, or to indi viduals, is what has made you such a promising class.
Yes, the exciting years ahead stagger the imagination, but you have the potential to make these years fruitful in peace, in justice, in charity. I am confident that you will realize these goals. Congratulations.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Brother Gregory Mason, F.S.C. Director
