The purpose of the YCS is twofold: first, Christian self-improvement, and sec­ ond, the passage of these principles into society. This year the Senior YCS worked in a tutoring program at the Clinton School in downtown Syracuse.

The YCS devotes the majority of its time to discussion of problems in the Church and society.
Gino Grosso, Senior member, does some outside reading on the Aposto- late of the Laity.
Brother Michael, Junior moderator, conducts an informal Father McNamara, besides holding the job of school chaplain, discussion with YCS’ers after school. takes charge of the Senior YCS' in his spare time.
