Rehearsing is an accepted fact of life for C B A Under
classmen. They face daily performances before teach
ers, coaches and activity moderators — all without
visible strain. Hours of practice at home and after
school help to sharpen their skills.
More interesting to the observer is that each Under
classman is in fact a one-man band. Faced with a myr
iad of subjects, the student enters the spot light ready
for action — even if it means a surprise quiz. In any
event, the daily performance — which is broken up by a
lunchtime intermission — combines an exciting light
rave reviews.
The performance never becomes routine. Each day
students are faced with new challenges from blown
fuses to wrong notes — and on a more positive note
guest stars. While the melody of their academic music
show, screaming arithmetic and rythmic writing —
all to
may sound a sour note from time to time,
classman leaves at two thirty, undaunted.
All of the practice pays off in the end after
year, grammy wards at Honors Night and
semblies help to keep the emerging rock
strong.
