Like all CBA students, Middle Schoolers set aside
nine and a half months to tour the academic scene. It
may often be a new and frightening experience — es
pecially for the seventh grader who bumps into a six
foot Senior for the first time. Yet survive it, they do —
what is more, they quickly learn the ins and outs of the
CBA concert scene.
An occasional off-key performance may interrupt an
other wise hectic but exciting time; but this does not
deter the promising young performer. Long hours of
rehearsal —
whether it is in the classroom or on the
playing field help to discipline the budding entertainers
for the rigors of high school.
Performances in Soccer and Basketball this season
indicated that rave reviews are in store for the Middle
School rock stars. The playing field was not the only
place where the Young Brothers proved their mettle.
The academic scene found quite a few honors certifi
cates in the hands of seventh and eighth graders. All in
all it was a successful season for the Middle School.
