Lawyer for the defense, John Ryan worked over the
plantiff’s witness Steve Ritter, but couldn’t make him crack.
Ashley Burgess and Kirk Dausman intensively questioned
witness Chris Edwards, but could not make him confess his
guilt. Defense attorney Chris Millard deftly questioned wit­
ness Jerry Mingolelli and Tom Sullivan, but the defen­
dants side-stepped all questions with ease.
The squad faced tough competition from East Syracuse-
Minoa, Fowler, and Henniger teams.
Expectations were high that Regional competition would
see the squad move on to the state tourney in Albany.
