 Shopping ’Till You’re Dropping
The Dress Code
What do you think of when you hear the words "dress code"?
I don't know about you, but I think of two words — The Mall.
Thinking about what to wear and if it's allowed is no picnic. This
is how shopping went for me: finding something I actually liked,
trying it on, seeing that it is above my knee or below my collar
bone, and putting it back. Once I saw a blouse I liked and it fit,
but I didn't get it. A couple weeks later, I went back to get it.
Guess what? Big zero. It wasn't there.
A lot of days when I started out, I thought, "Okay. Today I'm
going to get as many things as I can." I end up getting, like, one
or two things. And I'm so tired I want to sleep for a week.
It's not a bad dress code; it's not torture or anything, and I don't
hate it. But I guarantee I'll be back to the mall in a couple of
weeks.

Arf class can be pretty
messy. Diana Villarreal and
Molly Ringwood are having
fun getting into the clay.
Seventh graders are notori
ous for having large book-
bags. Patrick Powers dem
onstrates this stereotype.
