Claire Lobdell and Chris Bruns take a
moment off the dance floor to pose
for our photographer.
One of the difficulties of dancing is
being able to stay on your feet. Ann
Kabza look advantage of the floor
space and took a quick break.
As everyone knows, it takes a lot of
preparation for a semi-formal. These
girls smile because they made It on
time.
Sadie Hawkins ’95
As a student at CBA, one
of the first words that
comes to mind when
speaking of my school is
tradition. One thing is for
sure .. . that ali changed
the night of December ^6,
1995.
The Student Senate, un
der the leadership of our
elected President John To-
oley, decided for the first
time ever at CBA to spon
sor a Christmas semi-formal
for the high school stu
dents. Posters, very artisti
cally drawn by Senior Nan
do DiFino, were plastered
to the walls of every hall
way and tacked to the
bulletin boards in every
homeroom. President To-
oley's unique idea for this
dance was to make it a
Sadie Hawkins dance, ya'
know, where the girls ask
the guys.
Three weeks before the
dance, dates had been
set, dresses were bought,
and plans for the evening
had been arranged. The
school gym was beautifully
decorated for the night,
and everyone had a fab
ulous time grooving to the
DJ's tunes.
By the end of the night,
our feet were tired, our hair
was disheveled, and our
purses were empty. Thanks
to the ladies, everyone had
a great time and the night
went along very smoothly.
