Behold, I do not give lectures or a little charity, When I give I give myself.
—Walt Whitman, “Song of Myself”
Such could be said of Sam J. Ciciarelli, who adopted Christian Brothers Academy as his honorary Alma Ma ter.
His family became a CBA family with five sons and a grandson on the Alumni Roster and two grandsons now at the Academy. He and his late wife, Mary, were an inseparable CBA team.
His voice was familiar announcing games for 30 years. His face was familiar as he gave of himself for the success of every school function.
His title of “Mr. CBA” was justly earned.
In farewell to Sam Ciciarelli, “Mr. CBA,” we grateful ly dedicate “Academy ’76”.
