Danielle, Mr. Horan, Ali, and Mia spend some quality time playing with the kids
To The Senior Volunteers from CBA:
We are writing to say thank-you for your commitment to our children while they were at Camp Sunshine.
Iamnot sure if you realize just how much your time, smiles, hello's, laughter meant to not only our
children but Frank and I as parents. The past 3 years were not easy on our family and after the initial shock
of finding out
she survived.
Now here we
turned out to
thanks to you
just how sick our Isabella was we buckled down and spent the next 2 plus years making sure
are, Bella is in remission and off treatment and we decided to try out Camp Sunshine and it
be far more than we could ever have imagined. The time alone Frank and I had together,
all spending time with our kids is something we desperately needed and totally enjoyed.
Hearing our kids at lunch and dinner tell us how great their days were just made us smile even more.
I loved the way you each made sure to greet us all each time we passed at camp, I am sure you all had a
wonderful time being teenagers, yet I only ever saw you taking care of the kids, thank-you!!
I hope someday you look back at your week at Camp Sunshine and are able to fully realize the impact you
had on all of us families that attended with you. May you each continue to bring such goodness into the
world.
