Each year Ms Felmeth, the eighth grade Social Studies teacher, takes eighth graders to Gettysburg, PA, to go back in time to the Battle of Gettysburg in 1863, a turning point for Union soldiers in the Civil War. Students run Pickett's Charge, visit Gettysburg National Cemetary, and learn about President Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.
