The team takes a welcome water break during a game on a sultry fall evening. Catching their breath and thinking over the game gives players a chance to mentally prepare for the next half.
Pony tail flying, Brittany Aungier prepares to snatch the ball away from an opponent. Although young, this team proved all season that they had “the right stuff.”
Intent on the game in progress, these players show off their team spirit. Shannon Howe, Meghan Carrick, Sheila Catanzarita, and Amanda Hanlon look on as CBA takes down yet another opponent. The team impressed opponents during the regular season and in the state tournament, advancing to the State finals. Next year looks like it will be just as good, with most of the
team returning for another year.
Sweeper Emily Sedgwick shows off the strength of form that made her one of the finest defenders in the state this year. Attackers seldom stood a chance with Emily in the backfield.
Running is essential in this game. Maggie Boyle and Brittany Aungier dash after the ball.
