One hundred years ago, an experiment in small city education began with the founding of Christian Brothers Academy. That experiment has turned into the only true college-preparatory Catholic school in Syracuse. For many years home to only male students, the school is now co educational, and girls make up almost 50% of the student body. CBA, a place from which we can all be proud to say we have come as we move on to other pursuits in life.

Christian Brothers Academy’s first taste of basketball glory came in 1903, when these CBA seniors triumphed over the “Pride of the YMCA” team in the championship game.
Our 1917 football team lost one game all sea son. It was a solid team that scored 157 points and only allowed 19 points. We’reproudto see their success mirrored in this year’s football squad.
