Sunshine, in Casco, Maine, provides a place for escape for milies with kids who have (or have had) life-threatening illnesses. It
runs all year long. There is no cost to the families as the Camp runs on donations and volunteers. Each summer, Mr. Horan takes two groups ofrising seniors for one session ofthe Camp each. Although it fulfills senior service hours, it touches the volunteers’ hearts so deeply that many return on their own for future sessions.
