 CDA
The 1977 Yearbook staff would like to dedicate this tenth
edition of fhe 1977 ACADEMY to four men who have each dedicated
over 10 years of their lives to Christian Brothers Academy.
Those four men are Dr. Myron Kotch, Mr. Jerome Riordan, Brother
Anthony Lamb, and Brother Francis Johnson. Each of these men
has done his own part in making CBA what it is today.
Doctor Kotch has been a part of CBA for 14 years and has
been active in all school activities during this period. Besides
teaching history psychology, he is moderator of the Model United
Nations Club. Also, he is the Social Studies Department Chairman.
Mr. Riordan also has been with CBA for 14 years. During
the past 14 years he has coached CBA's track and cross-country
teams to pure dominance over the Central New York Cities League.

CBA. Also, he has taught Earth Science.
Brother Anthony Lamb, who has been with CBA for 13 years,
has been a prominent English teacher. However, perhaps one of
his largest contributions has been the formation of the Art
Department and Art Room.
Brother Francis Johnson has been with CBA twice for a total
of 22 years. He taught at CBA from 1934 to 1949 in the English
Department. He returned in 1970 and to this date he has served
as School Historian. Without his dedicated efforts to preserve
the History of CBA, we would have nothing to look back on.
In conclusion, we the Yearbook staff would like to congratulate
these men and thank them for without their service and
dedication in teaching and leading young men
CBA would not be the fine institution that it is today.
