It’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how you play the game, and CBA played the game great thisyear. Inayearwhenfootball,boys’andgirls’ soccer, and boys’ basketball, just to name a few, were moved up in class and forced to compete against schools that are two, three, or more sizes bigger than we are, our teams made it into the
sectional playoffs in all of them, and to the state tournament in more than one.
But sports are more than just records. They give students a chance to bum off some of that excess energy gathered sitting in classes all day. Sports teach lessons in teamwork and discipline. They make you a more well-rounded person.
With over 85% of CBA’s students participating in one or more sports, sports are a huge part of life here at CBA. And whether we win or lose, we all benefit from playing.
