This season the Varsity football team had one of the best showings in recent years, finishing with a league record of 5-1-1 and an overall record 6-2-1. The team raised havoc in the CNYCL standings, thanks to the efforts of such stars as all-city team members Duane Owens and Vince Martinez. The Brothers went on to face Nottingham in the first High School football game in the Carrier Dome. The Sec tion 3 Class B semi-final position was up for grabs and the Brothers put up a hard fight before yielding, 23-20. Our team even received honorable mention status among the teams in the State. Coach Cambell certainly did his best! Although this season was thought to be one of rebuilding for CBA, the Brothers turned in an exciting season for everyone who came out to support them. Next year should be even better! GO BROTHERS!
The Junior Varsity football team turned in an im pressive season this year, with several good perfor mances against top teams. They finished at 5-2-0 in the league overall, including a fantastic win over Bishop Ludden, the score? 44-0.
Meanwhile, the Modified football team also fought hard against their opponents, salvaging many close games. Much is expected of these athletes in the time to come.
