OUR LAST FIRST KISS
In life, everything happens for a reason. So when we got together, I thought it was no mistake; I just believed God had a master plan and although it was an accident, we met for a purpose. When we met, I never in my wildest dreams thought I would meet the man of my dreams that would give me "OUR LAST FIRST KISS."
Things happened almost immediately. The numbers started adding up. Within 10 days, you gave me 10,000 texts of affection; you were one of few men who told me "I Love You" and I actually felt it and felt you meant it; you told me "it took me 27 years and 6 days" to find me and at that time, I knew I felt complete.
Funny thing is, you were in the middle of a strained relationship, yet we found time to love. To love things about each other; to love things about life; to love a relationship we can both honestly say we were happy in.
We took the relationship by storm and our love skyrocketed to the sky's unknown. Together we were on top of the world, because our love was on top. We put each other first!!
Now let’s fast forward to almost a year. The last 6 months we lost communication, we had a tear in the ties that bonded us, we had a crack in our foundation. Simply put, our worlds along with my heart were now being torn apart.
Now days away from our one year mark, I am struggling with where I stand, what I have and where this is going. Yet, I find myself shopping for your Christmas gifts. Heck, I even brought a ring! I still held on to hope and faith.
Today, I stand before everyone bigger and better than ever. I let go of those burdens, I returned the ring, I am surrounded by a strong circle who keeps me grounded and sane. Until I am once again granted another chance at love, I will continue to work on me. God I stay faithful and I know when the time is right, You will send me someone who will not want to give OUR LAST FIRST KISS, but instead You will send someone who will give me MY FIRST AND LAST KISS!!
