Personally, I believe most self-defense situations can be avoided if we utilize situational awareness and operate as a hardened target. Our goal is to keep our heads on a swivel, identify the wolves and get as far away from them as possible. Just because you have a gun doesn’t mean you should put yourself in a dangerous situation. Remember, you may be the good guy, but that doesn’t guarantee you’ll survive. Avoid the wolves and live to fight another day.
