Farmington Valley Chorus (continued)
We sang-in a new friend, Marion Ivey, and Cheryl’s daughter (and chorus tenor), Megan, welcomed a
new baby boy to the family. He will have 40 aunts waiting in line to hold him when this pandemic is
through.
Amy Sheehan, FVC chorus and quartet lead extraordinaire, has just opened her dream coffee shop in
Simsbury called The Coffee Spot (750 Hopmeadow Street) . Get in the car and plan for a couple of
hours stay in this cozy, cottage-like, coffee emporium. She would love to see, feed and caffeinate all her
Sweet Adeline friends.
At the wonderful “Winter 1derland Regional Weekend” we had three of our members’ children in the
Young Women In Harmony Chorus sing “Fight Song”. With that, our membership now spans from
Gabriella at nine years old to Betty who turns 90 next month. Now that is staying power.
Thank you to all our friends that bought t-shirts/sweatshirts or sent donations to help us stay in this life-
giving hobby of ours. Truly, without our Sweet Adeline friends – near and far- this past pandemic year
would not have been bearable.
“Sharing music with friends fills our hearts with song each day”.
