BUDGET PROGRAMME PERFORMANCE INDICATOR 3 (ACTIVITY-BASED)
Indicator title
Number of learners from rural areas funded by the NSF for education and training.
Data limitations
The accuracy, completeness and validity of the indicator depend on the accuracy, com- pleteness and validity of learner data reported in project reports.

Calculation type
Cumulative 5-year target: Cumulative number of learners from rural areas that were funded for education and training over the 5-year strategic period. Learners funded over more than one year should only be counted once.
Annual target: Number of learners from rural areas that were funded for education and training within the financial year.
Quarterly target: Cumulative number of learners from rural areas that were funded for education and training for the year to date (quarter end-date).
