CSET and CAES Successfully hosted the Teaching and Learning Festival 2019 Research and Innovation • The College has a total of 49 NRF rated researchers. • CSET was awarded a grant from the UK that would enable UNISA staff at CSET to pursue Doctoral quali cations in UK Universities as part of the UNISA staff development strategy towards higher quali cations. • Unisa’s 2019 Research & Innovation Week was held from 4 to 8 March. Internationalisation • Internationalisation remains a priority at CSET via collaboration and student exchanges. • Oman – Sultan Qaboos University in Oman for Engineering and Water Technology collaboration and student exchanges. • UK – Cran eld, Durham – Staff Doctoral Improvement Program. • UK – Oxford, Cambridge – Cybersecurity. • Europe – TU Delft, Ghent, Oldeburg – Joint PhD degrees. • Current projects: Singapore, China, India... 5
