Once the courses appear, click on your desired course. You can then select “enroll in this course” (or “Show Class Schedule”). If you select “enroll in this course,” the next screen that appears is the “Course Details” page. See above information about how to register for a face to face classroom session.
How to Drop Elective Courses
Go to My Learning and click on the course you wish to drop under “Elective Learning.”
On the next screen, click on “Un-enroll” at the top right of the screen. This will remove this course off your My Learning page.
If you just wish to change the class session you scheduled yourself to attend, see above information about dropping a face to face classroom session.
Hospital Direct® Tab
This tab will allow you to access education provided by various medical device manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies. Some of the courses have free continuing education credits.
Other Options
Note the words “LOG OUT,” “Site Map” and “?Help” to the right of the tab menu bar.
LOG OUT – click on “Logout” when you are not actively using the system. You will automatically be logged out after 30 minutes of no activity in the system.
Site Map – clicking on “site map” is another way to access any of the 5 tabs on the menu bar, and the features associated with each tab. See below.
?Help – click on “?Help” from any MU screen to access the on-line tutorials.
