It was during the latter part of 2019 around a coffffee table at Porsche Centre Pretoria we, together with the Porsche Club - Central and some enthusiasts decided to revive the Porsche Noggin meetings of old.

PORSCHE CLUB SOUTH AFRICA - CENTRAL
Our plan was to have a Noggin in at least each quarter of 2020. They would be open to all
Porsche enthusiast and feature interesting Porsche topics.
Firstly, for some reason not known to me, the word noggin was used by past Porsche Club members to
describe a get together where Porsche related topics were presented and discussed. We also know that other
car clubs such as the Historic Racing Series, BMW Motorrad Club uses the word Noggin to describe their
meeting.
The word noggin according to Oxford Languages means.
1.a person’s head.
“it hit him squarely on the noggin”
2.a small quantity of alcoholic drink, typically a quarter of a pint.
“I imagine you all go round to the pub afterwards for a quick noggin and a chat”
Whatever interpretation suits you best, our first meeting/noggin for 2020 was held on Saturday 15 February 2020 at the Le Mans Club House, Porsche Centre Pretoria.
