The Skidpan event was held at Zwart- kops, our favourite track and was facilitated by
Jan and Sparky.
Our first skidpan event of the year was fully booked before the closing date and we were very happy to see the entrants included
four lady participants.
We modified our track lay-out slightly to include some
challenging twists and turns, whereby drivers could experience the workings of the safety features and technology of the newer cars.
The Porsche Club has noticed a growing interest in this type of event, which means that in future, we will have to plan to
accommodate more participants. In so doing, a larger facility may become necessary.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the “behind the scenes” helpers who organise and unselfishly give of their time to make these events a success.
A BIG THANKS GOES OUT TO ALL ONCE AGAIN!!
