Have you ever wondered what it would be like to race at Le Mans? or How fast can a modern Formula 1 car lap the Nordschleife? Choose any laser-scanned track from any era of racing and combine it with the car of your dreams that has been meticulously modelled and fined tuned to be as close to the real thing as possible. Then put yourself into the driver’s seat - the possibilities are only limited by your imagination!
I have been competing Sim-racing for a while now, all the way from when PS 2 was launched. When Porsche Club - Central started their Sim-racing team during Lockdown I immediately put myself forward to help develop the team. During season 1 I noticed that members needed help and not everyone could keep up with my horrifyingly busy practice schedule.
PORSCHE CLUB SOUTH AFRICA - CENTRAL
I introduced YouTube lap guides and put together some racing workshops which contained corner by corner tutoring, braking points, turn-in points, gearing advice and much more.
My dedication to sharing these tips has pushed me to contribute around 12 hours per week (200 hours total) to practice and make content that everyone can benefit from. Sharing all my trade secrets did not bother me as I have always been fixated on helping people, and it is only really fun if we are all having a good time and having close competitive races.
