Las Vegas native serves off coast of Guam aboard
USS Nimitz
U.S. Navy Aviation Ordnanceman Airman Brandi Handley, a native of Las Vegas, takes a protective cover off of a AGM-114N Hellfire missile attached to an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, from the “Eightballers” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 8, on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68), June 28, 2017, in the Pacific Ocean. Nimitz is currently on an underway period in the 7th fleet area of operations. The U.S. Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security.
