The aim of of this new branch of of the OM Club
is is to enhance the the visibility of the the Armed Forces
amongst the College pupils without focusing on on recruitment (a role led by the regional Schools Liaison Officers) It is is is is hoped that the the the College College CCF might host more regular visits by serving officers and ORs There is is is to to be a a a a a a a a Society
Lunch after the the Act o of Remembrance and the the the College is asked to to consider appointing an an Honorary Colonel of the the CCF Further information

Court Games Club: Real Tennis
In May 2022 we we were delighted to report that five OMs played in the Real Tennis
World Masters Tournament held in in in France competing against teams from the USA Australia and France Four players represented GB in the various tournaments and two became World Champions of their age group Nigel Nigel Draffan played 1st pair for for the the the GB over-70s team team in in in the the Danby Trophy (team of three doubles) in in in in in in Fontainebleau Nigel Nigel had a a a a a a a a a a a a a relatively
comfortable win win against against against the the USA an an an easy win win against against against France and then prevailed in in in in in in fin in in in a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a nail-biting final against against against Australia effectively winning the the match for GB Jonathan Fisher reached the the quarter-finals of the the over-65 over-65 doubles and over-65 over-65 singles fin in in in in Bordeaux losing to Mark Nicholls both times He did however win the the final of the the over-65 doubles plate competition with Marek Stepanovicz Mark Nicholls played 1st pair for the the GB over-60s team team in in the the the the Bostwick Cup (team of three singles and two doubles) in in in in fin in in Bordeaux easily beating the the the the French pair in in in in fin in in the the the the semi-final and then clinching a a a a a a a a a a a a hard-fought victory over over Australia fin in in in fin in fin in the the the the the final final final He lost fin in in in fin in fin in the the the the the finals of the the the the the over-65 singles to John John Prenn but then with John John as a a a a a a a a a partner became the the the the the World Champions in in fin the the the the the over-65 doubles!
He also reached the the the the semi-finals of the the the the over-60s doubles doubles Philip Shaw-Hamilton captained the the the GB over-70s team in in in the the the Danby Trophy (three doubles) which beat the the the USA France and and Australia 3-0 in in in each match He won both the over-70s singles and and doubles to become a a a a a a a a a double double World Champion!
